What
types of boats qualify for coverage? Most
watercraft insurance programs cover boats from 16" to 25' 11" in
length. Boats eligible for
this coverage must be valued at $1,000 or higher. This includes outboard
powered, inboard powered and sailboats (with or without power). Non-powered
boats (canoes, rowboats, pedal boats) are eligible but only for inland water
